Bob's Bio

Bob Williams is a retired history teacher and wrestling coach who owns a farm market in Pittsfield Township (www.BushelBob.com) and works in the automotive industry for KBI in Sandusky. Bob and his family have made Pittsfield Township their home since 2002 after returning to Lorain County from teaching and coaching overseas. A native of Lorain County, he is one of the many descendants of Samuel F. Williams, who fought against the British in the War of 1812 under Major McClung. Schooled K-6 at Brush Elementary in Grafton, Bob moved to Elyria and graduated Class of '75 where he was President of C.O.E. (Cooperative Office Experience). He earned his BA in Secondary Education and History from Walsh Univ in Canton and his Masters in Sociology from the University of Wales (where the Williams clan originated). He is currently a doctoral student of political sociology at the Univ of Birmingham.

After his enlistment in the Air Force where he was awarded Airman of the Quarter in 1982, Bob started his fulltime postal contracting business and went to college fulltime. After graduating as a history teacher, Bob acquired a wealth of international experience in teaching and coaching. In 1994, Bob won first prize in a national competition sponsored by the Foundation for Economic Education for co-authoring a free enterprise teaching game. He has spent the past 5 years as a participant observer of the historic transformation of the U.S. auto industry, while also farming and pursuing a doctorate in political sociology

Bob Williams is the only candidate for District 58 who has never been a Republican or a Democrat. That means Bob doesn't offer the same tired policies that hurt jobs and raise taxes!

Bob is fed up with Communists from China stealing Ohio jobs, something that is funded with our very own tax dollars thanks to Stanley Aronoff's SB 62. Repeal Aronoff's SB 62 that loans Ohio tax dollars to Communist China, who in turn build factories and offer them to Ohio businesses rent-free if they relocate to Red China. That's what Bob Williams plans to do when elected to be your next State Representative for District 58. Repeal SB 62!
