Welcome to Bob Williams for District 58
Bob Williams is a Libertarian LPO. On November 2nd Bob received 7% of the vote in Lorain County; 4% of the vote in Huron County; and 6% of the vote in Seneca County for a grand total of 5.56%, which tied for the third highest percentage among the candidates seeking offices in the General Assembly. Bob was pleased that he not only met his goal of 5% but exceeded that with a comfortable margin. Five percent translates to continued ballot status for the Libertarian Party of Ohio.
Bob says "I want to thank the many volunteers and voters for their contributions to this campaign. Together we polled 5.56 percent, the most ever for a Libertarian candidate in a District 58 election. While this election may be over, the fight to end the Demopublican two-sides-of-the-same-coin one party monopoly continues. Not only do we continue to be Ohio's and America's second largest party after the Demopublicans, we are growing because of liberty-loving supporters like you."
Libertarian vs Demopublican
Libertarians seek a world where you can make your own plans, work to achieve your own goals, keep what your earn, and not worry about the next legislative session of government taking it all away. Your God-given life is yours to live as you see fit according to your own understanding of what that means. Libertarians want your life to be whatever you want your life to be. Libertarians believe that you have the inalienable right to decide for yourself what's best for you and to act on that belief so long as you equally respect the right of other people to peacefully do the same. People are usually better off when they can work out their own problems through voluntary cooperation without interference from the interventionist hand of government.
Bob says "I agree with the Libertarian view that government, at all levels, is too large, too expensive, and worse than merely inefficient. It is clear from Uncle Sams' record of global state terrorism during this past decade, from the historical record of America's twentieth century, and from the trillions of dollars of federal government debt today that Democrats and Republicans show no ambition or capability to move in the direction of smaller, less costly, peaceful government. Only the Libertarian Party is working consistently all the time to help us recover control of own lives and futures - to recover Ohio from the major party politicians who have let much of it go to Uncle Sam's global empire, including Red China. Ohio needs my help too."
